Last night, after Cubs, Bob was remarking to Jack that perhaps he could work on getting a few badges as he doesn’t really have very many. Jack very calmly replied the following:
You know…some kids are all about badges, but I don’t need them. I could open up that book(the cub book) and do the things they tell me to do, but I don’t need to. I don’t need badges or trophies to celebrate the mini-events in my life. I like my life as it is. Having more badges isn’t going to change that. My life is good right now.
How do you argue with that? Wow…my kids teach me things on a daily basis. I love this boy…
