Just The Two of Them

I am sifting through old images for some printing projects I am working on(I’ll share them here I promise). I found this one of Georgia and Jack in Pingvellir National Park, Iceland. Not a perfect image, but a perfect reminder that they sometimes like each other. On this trip, they fought twice. Bob and I actually counted because we were so shocked by it…This was a wee gem…an image I hadn’t edited the first time through because I didn’t see the value in it. How things change :)

Learning about coconuts today. When Robert Pugh is your dad, life is a science lesson ;)

Just because there hadn’t been many of Jack lately. I am loving learning how to shoot underwater with my fabulous new housing. The kids are loving snorkelling. It’s not all we’ve done here, but it is what we are mostly doing :) The Pugh’s have never had such a relaxing holiday….

Postcard From Pughville: Flying Fish

Truth be told, one’s a killer whale and one’s a seal…so, not really fish at all. Actually, Icelandic mammals :) But, that didn’t have the same ring to it ;) From this weekend in Panorama.

Happy Valentine’s Day

by admin on February 15, 2013

That moment when you just want your child to smile, but because you have drilled it out of her over the years, she thinks she is….that’s how you know you are a photographer ;)

I know this is a day late, but I thought I’d share. This year, thanks to Pinterest, Jack gave poprocks(and apparently this was hugely successful) and a pencil. Georgia opted for the crazy straws and a chocolate heart.

Hope everyone had a fabulous day filled with love and chocolate ;)

Double Digits

by admin on August 27, 2012

Just like that Jack is 10. There really are no words tonight. I am coming to the realization that he is growing up way to fast. Today, he played it all cool around a couple of girls we saw while we were out for a walk. And, they giggled and whispered…a glimpse of what’s to come.

Recently, I had a session that I shot in the dark. The kids being home from school still means they get to see me edit. Jack was enthralled with the sparkler images. And, so he told me that this was what he wanted for his 10 year old shots…so, who am I to let him down. From tonight…with his sister. Looking more grown up than I can stand.

Happy birthday baby boy :) Tonight at the dinner table I said ’10 years ago today our lives changed drastically’… and Georgia(always the cheeky monkey) asked ‘Why?’ … Bob quickly replied ‘Someone came to live with us and he hasn’t left yet’ ;) I love the banter at our house. I love that the kids laugh at the weirdness of it all…
